Becky, Legacy Instructor:
“This is Ryleigh. She is a junior and has big plans! Her parents did not graduate high school, so she is excited to further her education and make a better life for herself. She works EXTREMELY hard in all classes, averaging all A’s while also a varsity cheerleader.”
1. Why did you choose to enroll in the Legacy Medical Academy CSA Pre-Nursing program?
I chose to enroll in the CNA pathway program so I could learn and get hands-on experience in a medical setting. I wanted to be able to take the first steps in my medical career.
2. What are your plans after you receive the certification? Will you attend college, go right into the workforce, or both?
After I receive my certification, I plan to use it to work while hopefully attending college at Indiana University, Bloomington.
3. What are your ultimate goals? How is the CNA certification helping you achieve those goals?
My ultimate goal after college is to become an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner. Getting my CNA will help me achieve this goal because it will give me hands-on experience in the medical field before I attend college, and it will help me get a healthcare job while I’m in college.
